THANKSGIVING SAUSAGE STUFFING

Spice up your traditional stuffing recipe with our ground breakfast sausage 🔥 - made with all natural pork, chile flake, maple syrup, and fresh herbs!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb Lottie’s Everything Sausage
  • 1 yellow onion, small diced
  • 2 celery stalks, small diced
  • 1 sourdough loaf, preferably stale cut into chunks (or lightly toasted chunks)
  • 1 cup shredded gouda cheese 
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups chicken stock 
  • Pinch of salt and pepper to taste
  • (Optional: 2 carrots, small diced)

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease (we prefer butter) a 9x13 baking dish
  • Cook one pound of Lottie’s 'Everything' Sausage on medium-high heat until brown and set aside in large bowl to cool
  • In the same pan, saute onions, celery and carrots (season lightly with salt) on medium heat until tender
  • In a small bowl, beat eggs and add stock and set aside
  • Add sautéed veggies to browned sausage and mix in bread and shredded cheese. Pour half the egg mixture in and toss.
  • Place in baking dish and pour rest of egg mixture over stuffing
  • Cover and bake for ~ 40-50 minutes
