The Lottie | With Aunt Marla's Curry Sauce

One of our fave sauces - from one of our fave aunts! Lottie's fans always ask us to bottle this up and sell it - see for yourself!

Ingredients

(or you can use our Bratwurst)

  • 2 cups mayo
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp grated horseradish (fresh or prepared)

Directions:

Our favorite way to heat our sausages and get that perfect snap is on the stove top:

  • On medium-high heat, add the sausage and 1/2 inch water (or your favorite beer).
  • Cover and sauté one side for ~5 minutes.
  • Flip sausage and remove lid.
  • Once liquid has evaporated, you will get a nice caramelization (and SNAP) and you are good to go!

On the grill, all they need is ~8-10 minutes on low heat and voila! remember: Lottie’s Sausages are fully cooked so you don’t want to over-do it]

For the Curry Sauce:

  • In a mixing bowl add mayo, spices and horseradish. Mix together.
  • Once incorporated, add vinegar.
  • Season with a pinch of salt to taste!
  • Tip: We like to add a crunchy apple slaw or cabbage mix for extra crunch - enjoy!!
